    Description

    This is a fast growing European energy conglomerate with assets in power, utilities and an extensive trading portfolio covering power and clean energy. Due to ambitious growth plans, there is now a newly created opportunity for a high calibre Senior Credit Risk Analyst to cover power, renewable, clean energy assets and trading portfolios.

    Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer in APAC, the Senior Credit Risk Analyst will play an integral role in executing robust credit risk assessment and directly managing the relationships with the business unit heads. He/ She will serve as a key business partner working to support the business activities across locations in Asia, contributing to developing and executing business unit strategies and goals in the region. He/ She will analyse, structure and approve deals that are aligned with the firm’s policies and risk appetite; educate businesses with regards to corporate and business counterparty risk policies/requirements/processes; as well as monitor and ensure compliance. The Senior Risk Analyst will partner other regional counterparty risk management teams, analytics, market risk, to leverage insight, data, capabilities, talent, tools and best practices and drive efficiencies.

    Requirements

    The successful candidate is degree qualified in a business/ finance discipline with 10-15 years’ regional counterparty credit experience gained in Commodities trading or global banks covering ideally energy, power, clean energy portfolios. You have strong business partnering, problem solving, analytical and change management experience. You will also be described as possessing excellent communication and presentation skills.
