Role
This is a sole contributor role, reporting to the Senior Manager, FP&A.
- Business partnership with BU/Functional heads to highlight issues, develop business recommendations, deliver required budgets, presentations and analyses, and drive process improvements.
- Responsible for long term & short term forecast budgetary process which includes STRAP, AOP, Mid-Year Forecast (MYF), and monthly forecast by working closely with BU/Functional heads.
- Ensure workflows comply to company policy, and make the recommendations when necessary.
- Collaborate with Internal/External Auditor Team to support various audit test and SOX walkthrough.
- Perform ROI analysis to support BU/Function projects
- Making sure accounts are prepared on a timely basis to comply with month end close deadlines
- Additional ad-hoc reporting, analysis as assigned by immediate superior.
- On-demand, ad hoc analysis to BU/Functional Partners
- Undertaking detailed analysis of financial performance across key areas, including productivity & efficiency, margin and other key cost areas on a monthly and ad-hoc basis – with a drive to identify opportunities and improve business performance.
- Developing financial models support timely, effective financial forecasts and the management decision making
- Responsible for preparing quarterly legal entity P&L projection to support tax forecast
Requirements
- 6-8 years related experience in a Manufacturing MNC.
- Experience in working with teams from different functions and backgrounds.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross functioning teams from all levels
- Excellent presentation skills – the ability to understand and interpret complex data easily to all necessary stakeholders
- Ability to work well independently.
- Knowledge of GAAP and other related accounting law or standards
- Understanding of accounting processes, procedure and internal controls.
- Strong business acumen
- Degree in finance, business, economics, or accounting.
- Postgraduate coursework is desirable.
- Knowledge and experience in Oracle Fusion (preferred)
