Our client is a reputable Asian energy trading house with significant influence in upstream and downstream supply chains. As one of few companies who own and run independent refineries, they are poised to capture increasing market share as they scale their business in line with Asia’s growing demand for energy. They are seeking a talented Senior HR Manager to join their team today as they position themselves for expansion and growth.
This newly-created position reports directly to the Country Managing Director. Working in tandem with an existing Senior HR Manager, both of you will be responsible for full spectrum HR across recruitment, performance management, compensation & benefits, expatriate management, and employee relations. You will partner closely with business leaders including overseas directors and the local heads of Trading, Risk, and Corporate Finance. Finally, you will also be consulted to spearhead strategic developments within HR to bring forward-looking processes into the company’s performance management, talent development, and compensation frameworks.
You possess at least 10 years of HR experience across both generalist and business partnering capacities. You must have prior experience working at Energy MNCs or global energy trading firms. You should possess good knowledge of Singapore labour laws, and are kept up to date with current HR best practices. Due to significant business focus in China, and extensive communication with counterparts in the Chinese headquarters, proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin is essential.
