    Description

    Our client has an established presence with a diverse portfolio of businesses in Singapore. As the HR role in the organization is playing a larger role to pivot HR practices and strategies to the next level, they are now looking for a Senior HR Manager for their Singapore office.

    Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Head of HR, you will be responsible to establish the HR function fundamentals and enhance the HR processes and policies. These will include setting up the performance management process, compensation and benefits policies, talent management roadmap, and employee engagement initiatives. Drive employee engagement, establish succession planning, enhance talent attraction and retention strategies. You will have prior experience as a change agent or have been in organization restructure and change management. As HR is a newly established function within the company, you will identify and drive adoption of best-in-class HR practices to help the company establish the company as an employer of choice. Responsible for further developing its HR capabilities and are instrumental in driving HR transformation and change management in alignment with the company’s vision and goals. You will manage a small team of HR and admin while supporting the Head of HR.

    Requirements

    You are a degree qualified with strong track record in setting up or developing HR capabilities, with strong HR business partnering and generalist experience, and the agility to switch between a tactical and strategic mindset. Prior experience in the consumer sector of healthcare or education will be preferred.  You have an in-depth understanding of the local labor legislations, regulations and practices.  You are a change agent who is strategic yet hands on, with strong EQ and communication skills. Demonstrated skills and experience in stakeholder management particularly in a culturally diverse environment. You are meticulous and is highly adaptable. Self-starter who enjoys and is adept with both operational and strategic tasks. Ability to thrive working in an ambiguity environment in its initial period is critical to the success of this role.
