    Description

    Our client is a leading cryptocurrency trading and asset management firm founded by veteran traders. They are a market leader for market making, OTC, trading execution and asset management solutions.
    There is now an exciting opportunity for an individual to join them as a senior institutional sales manager. This is a new headcount with a core focus is to expand and generate new businesses, targeting institutional clients globally.

    Responsibilities

    The successful candidate will take ownership for driving sales efforts for the firm’s full suite of trading and asset management products and services across various asset classes. This involves client acquisition, business development, generating leads, on boarding new clients, cross sales, repurchase and post-sales client services. You will develop new institutional prospects globally and deepen existing client relationships. You will work closely with the trading teams in identifying new market trends, ad hoc trading opportunities and generating investment and trading ideas.

    Requirements

    The ideal candidate will have excellent academic qualifications and 5 – 10 years of work experience in a sales and trading role at an investment bank, hedge fund or proprietary trading firm. Having a strong network of institutional clients regionally/globally and a proven sales track record is mandatory. Strong knowledge of OTC products, derivatives and margin trading is essential. Experience leading a small team is an advantage.

    As this is a role with financial targets, to succeed, you are expected to be highly driven, resourceful and are able to build strong relationships with institutional clients. Ability to work independently and think critically is essential to succeed in this fast-paced and dynamic environment. You are excited about developing a career in the cryptocurrency industry.
