Our client is a major financial institution who plays a key role in impacting and shaping the financial ecosystem of our region. They have consistently attracted the brightest minds of each cohort into their team, and boast an equally impressive track record of nurturing some of the most influential leaders in the banking and financial industries. A position has now opened for an experienced Senior Manager to lead and drive their total rewards and performance agendas.
This newly-created role offers an exciting opportunity for you to be at the forefront of shaping the firm’s Total Rewards frameworks and ultimately guide their talent attraction and retention strategies. Working in a team of 2-3 reports, you will partner closely with other business leaders and COEs to provide appropriate policy guidance across total rewards and performance related matters. The firm, like many others, has been expanding their technology team in alignment with economic demands, and will seek your expertise to conceptualize a performance culture in line with this new generation of tech talent.
You should possess at least 8-10 years of relevant experience either at a large bank or a company with a sizeable tech population. You must possess strong numerical and analytical skills and should be able to independently lead a salary benchmarking exercise. Prior experience working with an external vendor (e.g. Mercer, Aon, WTW) will be useful. People who embrace change and ambiguity tend to perform well in this role – as do those with great stakeholder management and communication skills.
