    We are currently partnering with a leading Nutritional Ingredients company to hire for a critical regional sales position to be based at their APAC headquarters in Singapore.


    Reporting to the APAC Business Unit Head, you will be taking over a very important role within the sales team to manage the key revenue generating customer accounts. You will be driving business growth on added value products on Ingredients level (B2B) including managing current customer portfolio and new customer acquisition, with focus on segments of Food & Beverage. Managing distributors and direct customers (key focus) in assigned markets within APAC are your primary responsibility. Other tasks include contributing to the set-up of the long-term strategic roadmap together with Marketing and R&D as well as to establish an effective and efficient sales (support) organization (including price, promotion and conditions policies), in line with the Sales Strategy, resulting in the agreed upon quantitative and qualitative sales targets/forecasts.


    You will ideally have a Food Science/Technology degree, or related field with a minimum of 10 years working experience in regional sales/key account management in the Food/Nutritional Ingredients industry. As a key account under the care of this role is Japanese, the familiarity in dealing with Japanese customers and appreciating their culture and nature of doing business is of upmost importance. The ability to speak the Japanese language will be highly regarded. We are looking for a high performing sales person with the knowledge and ability to engage in concept selling with customers. The role will be required to have multi-level interactions with internal and external stakeholders and hence a high EQ and strong communications skills will be important. As this position comes with the potential to step up to a leadership role in the future, we will need an ambitious high potential talent who is eagerly wanting to make a difference. Strong drive, positive mind-set, analytical thinker and team player are also good traits to possess.
