Senior Site Reliability Engineer, Energy Sector

We are partnering an established Industrial and Energy firm to look for a Site reliability engineer who is interested to transform current monitoring and observability tools in the organisation.

Responsibilities

You will be placed within the newly created Digital product and applications team and work on disaster recovery strategies, improving performance and efficiency for all processes. You will work closely with software engineering, security teams and other fellow enthusiasts in re-imaging digital transformation processes for your customers.

Requirements

• You have 5+ years of experience in SRE and exposure to DevOps practices
• You have hands on experience in monitoring tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, New relic, etc.
• Able to demonstrate hands on implementation of strategies from scratch will be preferred as opposed to pure troubleshooting and operational experience
• Ability to code in Golang/ java an advantage
• You have strong communication, troubleshooting skills and have the ability to mentor junior engineers within the team
• Any added Cloud certifications are a huge plus.
