    Our client is a global company providing customer loyalty solutions working with household names around the world. They are setting up a software engineering team in Singapore to build new digital solutions to deliver smarter engagements and improve customer experiences for their clients. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of an internal innovation team for an established global business.


    As a technical architect, you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing high quality systems. You will work with a cross-functional team to build new products while maintain compatibility with existing software and solutions.

    You have a keen code aesthetic, passionate about code quality while at the same time is pragmatic, able to weigh the trade-offs and compromises.  You will also be working with the management to estimate, plan and cost technical projects as well as reviewing estimates on an ongoing basis once the project is in-flight.

    With a strong passion in technology, you keep abreast of the latest developments sharing trends and insights within the organisation. You will also be involved in new business development ideas, providing commercial viable solutions while balancing innovation.


    You would have proven experience of successful software development in both an agile and structured project environments. You bring knowledge of modern software development methodologies such as devops, test-driven development as well as microservice architecture and cloud solutions. You have strong technical competence in Java, Spring/Spring Boot and SOLID design patterns. You also have experience securing APIs (Mutual TLS, OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect flows etc) and using GIT Source control tools. Additional experience with other OOP languages such as C# and knowledge of serverless architecture will be a plus.

    You should be able to effectively manage stakeholder relationships at all levels through strong interpersonal communication skills and is comfortable working in a distributed, global environment.
