Responsibilities

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Shipping Accountant will play an integral role in the financial accounting for the shipping entity. He/ She will also be involved in liaising with statutory audit and preparation of financial statements. Constant streamlining of processes, ensuring that all accounting standards are in compliance and ad hoc projects will also be expected.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be degree qualified in a finance discipline with at least 2-3 years’ of ship accounting experience. You will be meticulous, analytical and is a good team player.
