We are recruiting a Solution Architect for a large-scale digital supply chain project that is a result of a Public-private partnership. With a working platform already in place, they are looking to hire a new Solution Architect to be involved in further building out the platform, onboard new use cases, and lead a team of in-house software engineers. This is a rare opportunity to build a digital infrastructure at the national and international level.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and solutioning of the platform
• High-level scope of both functional and technical requirements, data and security blueprint, resources planning and delivery timeline
• Drive deep architectural discussions and solutioning sessions with tech leads
• Drive the development team in building reusable and extensible services
• Advocate and practice agile principles in software development
• Design and build services with a focus on business value and usability
• Design systems with scalability and flexibility in mind
• Perform code reviews and encourage best practices

Requirements

• Design & implementation experience on complex, large scale distributed applications systems design experience, with the ability to architect or explain complex systems interactions including data flows, common interfaces, APIs and other methods
• Broad architecture skills, covering application, infrastructure, data and integration
• Sound understanding and experience of contemporary paradigms, such as Cloud, DevOps and Agile
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
• Experience with micro-service architecture
• Experience in leading and guiding a development team
• Excellent written and communication skills
