    Description

    Global leading Semiconductor IC Company is actively looking for a Sourcing manager to develop, manage and execute sourcing strategies.

    This person is be the owner of supplier performance, relationships, pricing, and contracts on assigned services and/or material and also look at development of  2nd Source / Alternative Suppliers and Subcontractors.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and deploy Capacity Risk mitigation plan to ensure business continuity
    • Streamline and Optimize Supply Chain for new M & A
    • Supplier risk & performance management
    • Develop sourcing and supplier strategies to support the quality, technology, capacity, and cost expectations of the product roadmaps and customer expectations for assigned services & or materials
    • Secure sufficient capacity to meet production plan demands and ensure supply
    • Price & contracts negotiations
    • Develop forward looking, best in class policies and procedures to better position the supply chain operation for growth
    • Coordinate sourcing activities with engineering and manufacturing functions to align to sourcing strategy

    Requirements

    • Degree in Engineering preferred with at least 15 years of experience in the semiconductor/electronics industry
    • Strong in Project Management and Problem Solving tools (eg. PDCA)
    • Good computer skills which include SAP, Excel and Access
    • Familiar with Inventory and Supply Chain Management best practice which includes but not limited to strengths in cost analysis, change management, and quantitative analysis
    • Demonstrated leadership ability – Decisive and results-oriented, ability to multi-task, be versatile and take the lead to drive changes
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills and able to communicate in both English and Chinese to manage suppliers in the Asia Pacific region
    • Travel up to 30% as required if the situation is getting better
