A leading and highly respected energy trading market leader, with Singapore as its Asia Pacific HQ is looking to hire a structured trade finance officer. With its visionary leaders and an outstanding trading team, it has gained significant market share over the years. This is a new headcount, in support of the organization’s expansionary business plans in Asia.

Responsibilities:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to develop skills set in arranging structured trade commodity and asset financing deals in Asia. You will assist the business development team in developing a portfolio of STF solutions which will enhance the Group’s structured trading flows. You are instrumental in analysing financial data and financial projections, building cash flow models, reviewing documentation, preparing pitch books and financial reports as well as ensuring smooth financial close of the transactions. Additionally, you will get to assist in M&A deals, corporate funding projects and undertake live transaction collateral stratification.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate has outstanding academic qualifications and 5 – 7 years of experience in corporate finance and/or support role within investment banking origination. You are highly analytical, numerate and have a strong grasp of financial and accounting principles. You have experience supporting the deal process including loan documentation, financial analysis, write-ups, pitch books and prospectus. Knowledge of local and regional commodity markets is an advantage. A driven and solutions-oriented individual who is hands-on, you thrive in an ambiguous and yet collaborative environment.
