    Description

    We are pleased to be working exclusively with one of Europe’s top software companies as they seek to hire their first Talent Acquisition Lead for APAC. Our client’s award-winning technology system is used by leading financial institutions across the globe to monitor financial markets, execute trades, and monitor post-trade operations for risk mitigation. The successful applicant will recruit some of the brightest minds in financial technology and play a part in developing cutting-edge solutions for tomorrow’s financial markets.

    Role

    This newly created Talent Acquisition Lead role places you in a privileged position to re-imagine the company’s recruitment strategy for attracting and retaining top talent across APAC. Unique to this position, you will partner closely with global recruitment teams and business stakeholders to do more than just filling roles! Firstly, you are the APAC spokesperson whose opinion significantly shapes the company’s brand image in the region. This allows you to redefine the talent pool that is available to the company and gives you unhindered access to high quality talent. Concurrently, you partner closely with business leaders and Analytics teams to project future workforce needs and pipeline critical capabilities – allowing you to pro-actively source for talent instead of reactively filling roles. Lastly, you own the end-to-end recruitment process which gives you unparalleled access to make improvements and drive efficiency. This role will be hugely rewarding for a visionary and progressive talent partner – one who is unsatisfied with just maintaining the status quo.

    Requirements

    A unique role requires a unique personality! You must minimally have 8yrs of recruitment experience gained at an MNC, or a large matrix-structured corporation, with an excellent track record of sourcing for Tech talent. You would ideally have experience in a regional role though that is not a deal-breaker; more importantly, you are interested in more than just tactical recruitment and are constantly drawing up ideas for workforce planning and/or employer branding. Finally, you stay up to date with progressive recruitment strategies – following developments in gamification, capability mapping, and talent retention – in your unending quest searching for top talent.
