Tax Analyst – Established Integrated Energy trading MNC

This is an international integrated energy company which is looking to grow its trading presence in Singapore and Asia. Due to business expansion, the company is looking to hire a tax analyst who can support the high calibre finance team in Singapore.

Role

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Tax Analyst will ensure that the corporate tax compliance issues are resolved, including matters relating to indirect, withholding, and corporate income tax. The Tax Analyst will also assist with tax audits, tax investigations from IRAS and other tax authorities in Asia. Working closely with internal stakeholders on mergers and acquisition projects, the Tax Analyst will be actively involved in implementing tax risk mitigation solutions, raising awareness on tax issues with management, reviewing all tax reporting and budget and also be also involved in aligning the tax operating model across the group.

Requirements 

The successful candidate will be a degree holder in accounting or a qualified tax practitioner/ chartered accountant, with at least 4 years of experience in tax advisory. Big 4 tax assistant manager / manager candidates will be considered. Due to the need to deal with multiple stakeholders in a high complex business, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be able to manoeuvre in a fast pace and non-structured environment.
