    Description

    Our client is a renowned Food Ingredients Producer and even amidst the pandemic, am continuing their growth plans in APAC region and am currently looking for capable talents with concept/value selling experience to take on a regional sales role based out from their Singapore office.

    Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Head of Asia, you will be part of the expanding sales team accountable in growing the business in your assigned categories and territories while managing several key accounts and working closely with agents and distributors. You will be having regular travel (after travel bans are lifted) to visit customers in assigned countries to source new business opportunities, provide technical service to customers, maintain existing accounts, and develop good business relationship with customers. The role will require you to serve as a technical coordinator between your area of responsibility and HQ; while managing the projects and technical activities with close coordination with Application Technologists in the Application Lab in Singapore. Hence, knowledge in value sales is important and must be good as a solution provider to the customers.

    Requirements 

    You must have a Food Science/Technology/Chemistry degree with at least 8 years of total working experience in the B2B Food Ingredients industry. Client facing exposure in a technical or sales capacity is a key requirement, and you should possess good technical knowledge to engage in value selling to customers in your assigned territory. Category knowledge in the areas of Bakery, Dairy, Ice Cream etc will be greatly appreciated as these are the areas of strength of the company.  Results oriented and independent approach, with strong business acumen and the ability to develop new customers/markets will still be important traits for the role.
