Description

This is an established multi-commodities trading MNC with a global headcount of more than 1,000 employees. Singapore serves as the Asia Pacific Headquarters and trades in both energy and dry bulk. They are now keen to look for a high calibre Treasury Manager to join the Singapore team.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Treasurer of Asia, the Treasury Manager will play an integral role in all aspect of treasury scope including FX and cash management, monitoring funding requirements, providing accurate forecast, and managing key internal and external stakeholders. As this is a lead role with a heavy focus in FX, strong understanding in fixing orders, negotiating clauses and balance sheet hedging will be critical. The Manager will also be involved in strategic planning and be fronting the bankers with the treasurer.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be degree qualified in a finance discipline with 5-8 years’ work experience in a trading environment or large corporate. To excel in the role, you will be meticulous, analytical, proactive and is a strong communicator. The ability to make reasoned risk decisions and influence stakeholders will be highly desirable.
