We are partnering a well-established Financial Services Institution to identify a Senior Engineer familiar with VMware based virtualisation and OpenShift container platform management.

Responsibilities

You are tasked to develop automated solutions and be an integral part of the transformation plan to drive Infrastructure initiatives. You will act as the subject matter expert in planning, deploying and managing configurations of virtual and container platforms, working closely with internal, external teams and other vendors. You will be involved in operational L3 Windows incident support, change and reduce manual tasks, increasingly improving observability.

Requirements

• You have 4+ years of relevant experience with prior background working on Windows middleware products (AD, Group Policy, DNS, etc)
• Good understanding of VMware virtualisation tools including other security monitoring tools
• Proficiency in OpenShift based k8 platform management, familiarity with scripting languages such as Powershell, etc.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents
• You have excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with stakeholders across the organisation
