    We are partnering a Global Bank which has been investing significantly into its Private Wealth Management business in Asia. The Bank is expanding its Financial Crimes Compliance (FCC) function and this is a senior headcount within their APAC AML Investigation team.

    Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Head of AML Investigation, you will manage a small team in performing AML monitoring and investigations and ensure high standards are delivered. This includes performing complex investigations, reviewing AML/CFT cases and ensuring they are investigated, closed within stipulated timeframe with conclusions properly documented. You will keep abreast of new typologies, initiatives, best practices and apply them to working cases. Other responsibilities include MI reporting, UAT, reviewing systems parameter, managing data quality and system issues etc. You will have the opportunity to participate in key AML bank-wide initiatives and projects.

    Requirements

    You have at least 8-10 years of  relevant AML/Investigation experience in Banking and exposure to Private Banking/Wealth Management. Experience with regulatory body or law enforcement agency will be a benefit. CAMS or AML related certifications are welcomed. To succeed in this role, you must have a strong investigative mind-set, analytical skills and attention to details.
