This is a leading regional financial institution, headquartered in Singapore. Due to evolving business, the organisation is undergoing an exciting transformation journey and is aiming to become a data-driven decision-making organisation. With this, they are looking for a hands-on Data Architect to build a data platform.

You will work closely with business partners to design, architecture and deploy scalable and optimized data analytics platform to empower data transformation and insight discovery. You will also provide solid data and reporting design, system designs, and quality solutions including infrastructure-as-code cloud services, distributed streaming and workflow systems, and distributed databases.

Requirements:

You should have a proven track record as a Big Data Architect with an in-depth understanding of database structure principles. Hands-on experience in building a big data platform from scratch. Hadoop/Cloudera, Teradata, Python/Scala/Go and SQL skills are essential. You have strong experience in designing and building dimensional ETL processes, data models, data warehouse concepts and methodologies, optimizing data pipelines and architecture. You should have the exposure to latest data architecture. Strong communication is a must for this role given the level of stakeholder engagement.

Ideally, you have a successful track record in an MNC preferably in a financial services or consulting firm. You should demonstrate strong business acumen with good understanding of data architecture. This is an exciting role for candidates with the passion to make a difference.
