Our client is a leading Asian conglomerate, currently re-pivoting and embarking on the next phase of growth. There is an opportunity for a high caliber M&A professional to join their senior leadership ranks and have a hand in creating long term business opportunities.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the GCFO, you will manage a lean team and manage the entire M&A process from inception (including origination), driving the financial due diligence, negotiations, and post-deal integration. You will liaise with the relevant internal and external stakeholders, and lead high level presentations in seeking Board approval. Specific to post integration, you will follow up on restructuring of acquired / investee companies – where required – as well as ensure adherence to Group policies and procedures. Continued performance management of investee companies will also be included in your remit.

Requirements

Ideally you are degree qualified and have a minimum of 15 years relevant commercial experience, of which at least 8 years should be in an M&A leadership role. Prior experience gained in SGX/public listed companies will be highly desirable. You are a senior leader that can effectively engage and communicate with senior stakeholders. Whilst seasoned and senior, you are also operationally hands on and can work the details on the ground.
