    Description

    Our client is a consumer e-commerce retailer backed by major investors. They are now in an exciting expansion phase in both the Asia region and globally. You will join them as the VP of HR to further develop and execute its regional HR strategy as the organization grows its presence across the markets.

    Responsibilities

    This is both a strategic and operationally hands on role where you will partner directly with the CEO and C-suite leaders. You will lead and manage the Singapore and in-country HR teams in shaping the People agenda and delivering best-in-class HR solutions and services to enable sustained growth.

    You will see culture as an ethos, which has a profound impact on the employees and organizational behaviour. One will continue to build a closely knitted and strong culture to build a sense of shared purpose and work towards the organization’s goals.

    You are responsible for the full HR spectrum including, talent attraction, organisational development, culture building and driving best practices across HR operations, HR business partnering, performance and talent management, leadership development, succession planning and employee engagement. You will continue to build the HR function to become a high performing and high agility team.

    Requirements

    You are degree qualified with relevant demonstrated track record in human resource leadership roles gained in e-commerce, retail and consumer related industries. A growth mindset and performance-driven are critical traits that one should possess. Prior experience in a hyper growth and start-up experience is highly desirable.

    You will have solid in-depth knowledge of labour laws and HR practices across APAC especially in SEA and North Asia. You have experience supporting businesses in build out phase, including through acquisitions, and have directly partnered with CEOs or Founders. You are commercial, hands on, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  You have a genuine interest in people, humility, high EQ, as well as influencing skills.
