An established global bank continues to expand their footprints in Asia with a forward-looking digital strategy and sustainable measured growth. It has a collaborative and inclusive team culture with a focus on people. There is a newly created team lead role leading the governance in model validations based in Singapore.

You will be responsible for establishing, developing and implementing the governance framework and processes around the usage of models and data analytics to meet regulatory obligations. You will work with the CRO, senior leaders and risk committees to develop a risk hub strategy and be responsible for implementing it across the regional. On top of determining the program and strategy, this is a role where you will be  rolling up your sleeves to lead the multi-disciplinary team to support the continued growth. This is a forward-looking opportunity where you will transform the governance for models and analytics in the digital world. This is a highly visibility role to senior stakeholders and involvement in decision-making.

You are degree qualified with at least 10 – 15 years and above in modelling, analytics, data science/analytics within the Risk domain.  Independent, creative with a pro-active problem-solving mindset. Strategic and critical thinking ability with hands-on execution experience is required. Regional travel in APAC is required for the role. You are self-driven, decisive, forward-looking leader, solutions oriented with strong analytical skills, commercial judgement and excellent communication and presentation skills.
